2019 Field of Glory

We are pleased to announce the Azusa Rotary Foundation and the Azusa Rotary Club, along with our valued partners, are planning an inspirational and patriotic display of hundreds of U.S. Flags on front lawn of Azusa City Hall. This display will be in Remembrance of 9/11 and will honor our first responders, veterans, and active service members.

This beautiful flag display will grace the City Hall lawn from September 7th through September 11th. Opening Day events will be on Saturday, September 7th, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Opening Day Events

8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast ($5 adults, $3 children)

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – First Responder and Military Exhibits

10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Opening Ceremony.

Flags can be purchased for $40 and proudly displayed for the duration of the event to honor first responders, veterans, active service members, personal heroes, or any loved one. We also offer a personal sponsorship of $100 for those who wish to provide additional funds to the programs and non-profit organizations we support.

For those who wish to honor first responders, veterans, active military members, personal heroes, or any loved one, we will personalize a dedication tag that will be attached to each flag listing the Donor, the Honoree, and information about the Honoree. As a special touch, personal photos may also be attached to the flags.

There will be a site map showing visitors where to find individual flags in the Field, and the Field of Glory will be illuminated at night in accordance with U.S. Flag display protocol.

If desired, flags may be claimed at the close of the event on Thursday, September 12th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. when the Field of Glory is taken down, or donated back to the Azusa Rotary Club for future events.

We welcome community members and sponsors to visit the Field of Glory between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., September 7 through September 11.

Funds raised from this event will benefit Veterans Groups, Youth Leadership Programs, and non-profit organizations. To maximize our support to these groups, Business Sponsorships from $300 – $10,000 are available and will be greatly appreciated.

  • Platinum  Title Sponsor – $10,000 – Naming rights to the Field of Glory and annual first right of refusal to be the named sponsor. Only one available each year. Your company name and logo as title sponsor on Field of Glory 11 x 17 signs to be posted in shops and restaurants throughout Azusa (requires sponsorship commitment by July 1). Your name and logo on a banner at the event. Reserved table of 10 at the pancake breakfast. Reserved seating for 10 in the VIP section at the Field of Glory ceremony. Opportunity for one person from your firm to provide a brief presentation about your company as part of the program at the opening ceremony. Three double-sided yard signs on the Field for the duration of the display. 10 Flags on the Field that can be given to clients or employees. Continued recognition from the podium the day of the event as the Title Sponsor. Special recognition from the Azusa City Council at the City Council meeting
  • Gold $2,500 – Your company name and logo on Field of Glory 11 x 17 signs to be posted in shops and restaurants throughout Azusa (requires sponsorship commitment by July. Reserved seating for 6 at the pancake breakfast. Reserved seating for 6 in the VIP section at the opening ceremony. Two double-sided yard signs on the Field for the duration of the display 6 Flags on the Field that can be given to clients or employees. Recognition from the podium the day of the event. Special recognition from the Azusa City Council at the City Council meeting.
  • Silver $1,000 – Your company name on Field of Glory 11 x 17 signs to be posted in shops and restaurants throughout Azusa (requires sponsorship commitment by July 1). Reserved seating for 4 at the pancake breakfast. Reserved seating for 4 in the VIP section at the opening ceremony. One double-sided yard sign on the Field for the duration of the display. 4 Flags on the Field that can be given to clients or employees. Recognition from the podium the day of the event.
  • Bronze $500 – Reserved seating for 2 at the pancake breakfast. Reserved seating for 2 in the VIP section at the opening ceremony. 1 double-sided yard sign on the Field for the duration of the flag display. 2 Flags on the Field that can be given to clients or employees. Recognition from the podium the day of the event.
  • Star $300 – 1 double-sided yard sign on the Field for the duration of the flag display. 2 Flags on the Field that can be given to clients or employees. Recognition from the podium the day of the event.
